  1. What I Did Today 10:05 p.m.
    12/20/09

Note: I know that I written it yesterday but I’m typing it today so don’t comment on anything about it.

My day started at about 12:00 N. My friends and family went to Moonstar in Daly City to eat lunch. While I was eating, I saw Man (mon) from school. By the time we were done, I had to go back home and rest because I caught the cold. When I got back home, I watched Night of the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian. The movie was basically about getting all the people in the museum out of the Smithsonian. By the time I finished, I had to go to my godmother’s house to eat dinner. I was playing Super Mario Smash Brothers. The character that I was is Snake. I almost would have won the game if I didn’t fall down this hole. We had to go to a concert for Christmas. That was how my day ended.

  4. Cool beans guys! Rafferty, your day seemed pretty busy...and fun (aside from catching a cold, bummer)

Viv, it must have been nice to visit with your grandma. Are you really close to her? You should try to get to know your grandma as much as you can - you can learn a lot from her about your heritage and history in general.

Alright you guys. Thanks for being the first to blog. Great job!

    Happy Holidays,
    Mr. B

I learned about Hanukkah at school in after school program. Hanukkah (also known as Chanukah, Hanukah, Hannuka and the Festival of Lights) is an eight-day Jewish holiday that usually takes place between late November and late December. Jewish people celebrate it. Traditions include lighting the menorah, exchanging gifts and enjoying treats cooked in oil. I thought it would be boring but it wasn't. Eventually we learned more. That's it.

Today I went with my mom to her accupuncture appointment on Ocean ave. The place was called Men Hong Clinic (my Uncle Oliver owns it). While I was anxiously waiting to leave I listened to my mp3 and read a book. After that I went to vitamin express to get some medicine called Flora Smart for my mom. Shortly after we went to go see my other Uncle, Uncle Alex, to have lunch. We went to Noriega Bakery to have lunch. After we all stuffed our faces we all went home. I went home and went on my computer and went on my email and played a bunch of games. After that I drove to my mom's friend's house to go pick cookies up (they tasted really gross!!!) and that's my entire day ( I think).

  8. Jaz, pretty cool. You are a good writer! Reading your blog made me hungry, especially for something sweet. Lol. Thanks for blogging. Hope you're enjoying your break so far. Btw, tell your cat I said, "meow!"

Viv, thanks for sharing about Hannuka. Sounds like you enjoyed the lesson!

    Happy Trails,
    Mr. B

  9. Today I'll be picking up a few gifts. Hope it's simple, easy, and most of all, painless. Yes, I want to get thoughtful gifts, however, I don't want to have to deal with people clammoring all over the place. Peace and tranquility is what I'm after!

Other than that, I've invited a few friends over to watch the Warriors game. Too bad, they're not playing like all-stars...more like a cast of recreational players. It's hard to watch your hometeam self-destruct. Come on guys, dig deep!

    Alrighty, jingle bells!

  12. On Sunday the 27th the 49ers played the Lions. They dominated the Lions that day with a win 20-6. They took advantage of 6 turnovers and the many fumbles the Lions had that day. Go S.F. 49ers and have a great break!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  14. What I did today .
    12/26/09

Today my dad, little siblings, and I went to Oakland. We were going there so we could go help out at my aunt and uncle's store. When we got there, we had to go a place that was further away from the store so we could get the packages and boxes. After we got there, we packed the packages into my dad's car and went back to the store. We dropped some off and brought the other ones to my grandparents house. Finally afterwards, we had a chance to relax and have some fun.

Well I would like to start by saying Happy New Year's. My new years resoulution is to workout more because I don't have any muscles. I also want to improve my social studies and language arts grade. But now lets get to my day yesterday.
My cousins came over to my house and we had a party. We had a pinata which I made using some paper bags and construction paper. I let them all have about 15 turns hitting and they didn't break it open. So, I askesd for a turn and gave it a large whack and I broke it open ( I let them have all the candy cause of my new years resoulution which I am suppose to start today but I gave it a head start). For lunch we had vietnamese spring rolls. The we all watch TV for about 30 minutes. Then we all went to coffman swimming pool for a two hour swim. Then I had dinner and I watched the ball drop in New York City on TV. I went to sleep at 12:00am.

  18. OMG, it's really cool hearing about your various adventures! The spring rolls and pinatas; working for/with your dad. I kinda feel like I get to know each one of you better. Cool.

Btw, Happy New Years! Steve talked a little about resolutions - working out and being a giver - I too, resolve to be a better me. That includes, perfecting my imperfections and working harder at achieving my goals. Understandably, that's easier said than done.

    See you soon,
    Mr. B

  21. Well since my day isn't over yet I decide to write about my new video game I got on 12/21/09 (last year near Christmas).Well lets start with you in the game(its called Bad Company Battlefield).Your name is Preston Marlowe. You are a soldier in the U.S. Army and you r job is to stop the German soldier ( no offense to Stiven Deluer). You know how to fly an army chopper (helicopter).Your main gun is ussually a M16 semi automatic rifle and a grenade ( a type of explosive) launcher. You also ussually have a drill to repair air crafts and vehicles or a motar(a cellphone like machine that can hach into enemy explosives through magnetic fields to use them to blow enemy territory to pieces.Sometimes if you're lucky you get a missle guider which can help you destroy tanks(my favorite explosive). You also can use the guns from the russians (known as rednecks and redheads in the game no offense to Stiven Deleur again).Your squad leader is the Sarge. The technical and communication specialist is called Sweetwater and your explosives expert is Haggard. The game is rated T for Teen because there is Alcohol Reference, Strong Language ( cursing and races praises),and of course violence.I'll be blogging later today but I would like to ask if you can blog you 7 entrys or do you have to write them.

I watched a movie called Avatar. It was so good! I liked it when we watched it in 3-D. It had lots of special effects. My little brother got annoyed of watching it because it took more than two and a half hours. You will like it if you watch it.

  26. yea its a bit late but.....

    on Christmas....
This year Christmas was double times the fun because we had a party with all of our family friends. Ah, the food was awesome, the games, we even had karaoke(very little people sang)and lastly we had a game of charades. Oh man, was that fun. What still makes me laugh right now just thinking about it was when my dad went up to act for his word. His was bananas. If up there acting for the word was you instead of my dad, you would have probably pretend to peel the banana and then stuff it in your mouth, but my dad's interpretation was titlting to the side and sticking his hands straight up to the side. Everyone's faces were blank, they all started to guess absurd guesses. The funniest thing was that my friend knew staright away that it was a banana. Although when we asked her, she admitted that she didnt know why she knew it was banana either. My guess is that she probably knows it because she loves bananas(seriously not the fruit but the way it looks, even her backpack has a banana hanging from it! )Of course after the charades we had a count down and listened to the fireworks(we couldn't see the fireworks from my friends house).

Then the best thing was....... IT TURNED 2010!!!

During the day, I Went with my Mom to a downtown. My brother just played a game called Maplestory. I play sometimes....but my brother plays it for about 3 or 4 hours. Usually he procrasinates. Anyways, I helped my Mom pick certain shirts for the holidays in OldNavy. On our way home, I noticed that the decorations of Christmas were put up. At home, I wnet to play Maplestory, that online game from Nexon. Once I did try talking with a online friend who I don't know in real life. When he told me that he stole something, I just laughed. He lied to a player, whose charater name is WatchMeFall. Funny name. Afterwards, ate chocolate pudding, then watche tv.

P.s. If you don't understand it,go check Nexon.com. If you do play it, I play in a certain place named Broa. Happy School days....I guess.

  35. Hi! I'm having an awesome 2 weeks of vacation so far . . . On Saturday,I went swimming and shopping. On Sunday,I went to Chinese School and then I went to Costco. On Monday, I just stayed home and did my homework. On Tuesday I stayed home again and did my homework. On Wednesday,I woke up early and my family and I went out for tea and then we all went to Costco. After we went to Costco, we went to the eye doctor on Kerney St. and got our eyes checked. After we got our eyes checked, we went back home. On Thursday, I stayed home again and did some homework. And today, I went to a buffet and ate lots of food. After the buffet, we went to Fort Funston and we took a walk(after all of the food)and we finally drove back home.

(I will post some more about my next week of my vacation) (It's just that today's just Friday so I'm posting earlier.)

    Merry Christmas!
